Lindsey Wettstein is an emerging scenic designer and multi-hyphenate artist based out of New York and Massachusetts. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Theater Design and Technology with a Concentration in Scenic Design from Emerson College and is expected to graduate in May 2026. Their most recent designs include Lead Scenic Designer for POTUS: or Behind Every Great Dumbass Are Seven Women Trying To Keep Him Alive, Assistant Scenic Designer for Bat Boy: The Musical, and Assistant Scenic Designer for Mary Sweet Mary. She also dabbles in various other elements of creating the world of theatre. These include; stage management, and execution, set painting, and props design.
Growing up a musical theater kid and working with her mom in haunted houses, her love for all things theatre and immersive experiences has led her to pursue a career in Theatre Design and Technology. She is driven by her love for bringing audiences and communities together by immersing them in a world of collective imagination and a love for making stories spring out of the pages. Through their training with the brilliant Luciana Stecconi and Ryan Bates among others, Lindsey is currently growing her skills in hand and digital scenic drafting, imaginative and immersive sets and experiences, traditional and digital art, special effects and horror make-up, intermediate Photoshop, commercial face-painting, and crafting together materials on hand putting together a collaborative vision
